
This project consists on creating a 2D RPG video game from scratch.
The project was a 10 member group assignment for the 'Project II' subject in 2nd year of the Degree in Video Game Design and Development at CITM - UPC in Terrassa, Spain.
My roles in this project were producer and lead design. As a producer, I was in charge of gathering the work team to define the objectives, distribute them in time and organize the colleagues according to their preferences, also taking into account the group's opinion, to make the work more active, comfortable and enjoyable.
On the other hand, as lead designer, I was in charge of organizing the different sections that were being designed and introduced in the GDD. I was in charge of the design of the narrative, combat system, characters, enemies and items.
This project was made using our own assets, Tiled for level creation, C++ with SDL and Pugixml.
